The Settings Screen

This guide will review the GroupCal Settings screen, section by section, and option by option.

General Section

1. Profile – open the profile screen and configure your profile including your profile picture, name and address
2. Password lock – turn password lock on or off. Allows to configure a 4 digit pin code protecting the app.
3. Sound effects – turn sound effects on or off. Sound effects include the sounds played when swiping to complete an item, deleting an item, etc.
4. Show app badge – the app badge (the red circle on top of apps), can be configured to show different types of information:
   1. number of notifications – the overall number of updates across all calendars, waiting for your review. That number is the sum of all the notifications icons (blue circle with a number on it) on all calendars in the app.
   2. Today’s date – for example: 22 to represent that today is the 22nd of the month.
   3. No badge – never show a badge.
5. Temperature units – choose between fahrenheit or celsius.
6. Reminder sound – select what sound you want to hear when 24me displays a notification.
7. Languages – select the app language.
8. Display Appearance – Choose if you’d like for GroupCal to be in light or dark mode.

Calendar Section

1. First day of the week – select “Mon” or “Sun” to be the first day of the week used inside 24me.
2. Visible calendars – Opens the Visible Calendars screen, where you can choose which calendar accounts are visible in 24me.
3. Event reminders – Choose how much time by default, prior to an event, 24me should remind you about it.
4. Week numbers – turn the week numbers on or off.
5. Default event duration – choose what you would like to have as your default event duration

Siri Integration Section (iOS only)

1. Opening the app – toggle the option to open GroupCal using Siri. Activate Siri and say: “Open GroupCal”
2. View today’s schedule
3. Viewing next event

Location Services Section

1. Navigation App – Choose which app to use for navigation, when tapping on the Go button from events. For more details see Location Tab. Your selection for a Navigation App will only affect the Navigation App that opens once you tap on the Go button on top of the event, but will not change the type of map displayed on the Location Tab.

Account Section

1. Terms & Privacy: This section outlines GroupCal’s terms of service and privacy policies.
2. Restore Active Subscription: If your subscription status is not updated, you can restore it here to regain access to premium features and services.
3. Log Out: Log out of your GroupCal account.
4. Delete Account: This option allows you to permanently delete your GroupCal account and all associated data, removing your information from the platform.
