Disabling Double Notifications 

GroupCal automatically syncs with your personal calendar accounts on your device (your Google Calendar account, Outlook, iCloud, etc.), and shows your personal events in the app, side by side to your shared events. This may lead to double notifications for the same events from GroupCal and from other calendar apps installed on your device, such as the calendar app that comes pre-installed on your device (Apple Calendar, Samsung Calendar, Google Calendar, etc).

In order to fix this on Apple devices:

1. Open your device’s Settings app
2. Go to Notifications
3. Find the calendar apps for which you’d like to disable notifications
4. Tap on the button next to them, to turn OFF notifications 

In order to fix this on Android devices:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Go to “Notifications”
3. Go to “App settings”
4. Turn OFF the notifications for the calendar apps that you would no longer like to receive notifications from
